IP Address Blacklist Check

This blacklist check determines whether the entered URL or IP is included in DNSBL/SURBL systems.

These systems are used to remove spam by email system administrators to prevent them from reaching their users.

DNSBL is a blacklist for domain names. There are many DNSBLs on the Internet, each of which uses different criteria for listing and removing addresses. Many DNSBLs can be used to verify that spam filters are not contacting blacklisted domains. DNSBLs (Domain Name System Blocking Lists) are typically the very first safeguard against spam.
